At Birlon Harvest, roasting is where purpose meets process. We don’t just roast coffee — we refine stories, honor regions, and elevate everyday routines through the art and science of micro-roasting.
Our approach begins with respect: for the farmers, the land, and the bean itself. We exclusively roast single-origin coffees sourced from smallholder farms that value sustainability and fair practices. Each bean carries its own character, shaped by its environment, and our job is to listen — not overpower.
We micro-roast exclusively on our all-electric, ventless, and fully automated roasting machine. This innovative method gives us precise control over every roast while drastically reducing our carbon footprint. It’s better for the planet, better for the community, and better for your cup. By eliminating fossil fuels from the global coffee roasting process and strengthening the coffee supply chain through tangible innovations in farmer equity and retail empowerment, we continue to push the limits of roasting technology, creating new possibilities for our industry’s future.
Each roast profile is designed by hand and tested in-house to bring out the most nuanced flavors possible. We roast to highlight origin — not hide it. From fruity and floral Ethiopian lots to rich and nutty Guatemalan beans, our goal is always to preserve the bean’s true voice.
Because we roast in small batches, your coffee is always fresh. Once roasted, it rests just long enough to bloom, then it’s packaged and ready for you to grab in store or order online, delivered right to your door.
We believe great coffee doesn’t need to be complicated — but it should always be cared for. That’s the heart of how we roast.
Brewed with intention.
Roasted with respect.
Coffee is one of the most beloved beverages worldwide, enjoyed by millions for its rich flavors and energizing effects. While there are many aspects to love about coffee, one notable drawback is its acidity, which can sometimes cause stomach problems and discomfort for certain individuals.
Most coffee naturally falls between 4.85 and 5.13 pH (for comparison, pure water is neutral at pH 7). That’s less acidic than some beers or sodas — but when you enjoy several cups a day, the acidity can add up, sometimes leading to stomach discomfort.
The good news? You don’t have to give up your daily brew. Low-acid coffees are gaining popularity like never before, offering a smoother, gentler experience without compromising flavor.
At Birlon Harvest Coffee Roaster, we have sourced coffee farmers in regions naturally growing coffee that has a lower acid content:
They’re perfect for coffee drinkers with sensitive stomachs or anyone who prefers a cleaner, less bitter taste than dark roasts. Every sip is flavorful, satisfying — so you can enjoy coffee the way it’s meant to be.
