COFFEE RECIPES

Irish Coffee

Irish Coffee is one of the simplest and oldest coffee recipes for a coffee drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
  • 6 ounces of strong, freshly brewed Birlon Harvest French Roast
  • Whisk heavy whipping cream in a bowl
  • 3/4 ounce Irish cream
  • 2 teaspoon of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Brew some coffee and make it strong.
  2. Pour the whiskey into an Irish coffee mug.
  3. Put a spoon in the mug and pour in the hot coffee - the spoon somehow magically keeps the glass from breaking due to the hot liquid (don't ask me how, just enjoy the laws of physics).
  4. If you're adding sugar, do it now and stir until it dissolves.
  5. Add the whipped cream on top.
  6. Garnish with lightly sprinkled coffee grinds, chocolate shavings, cocoa powder or brown sugar sprinkles

Iced Mint Latte

This Iced Mint Latte has refreshing notes of mint with the energy boost of coffee, and it's the perfect cooler on a hot day. This iced coffee recipe is pretty simple.

To make the Iced Mint Latte, you'll need to:

  1. Make a mint syrup.  Just put  1cup water and 1 cup sugar in a pan over heat until the sugar has dissolved, and then add in 1 bunch fresh mint.
  2. Make an espresso with Birlon Harvest Ola's Breakfast Blend
  3. Add in milk of your choice
  4. Pour it over ice
  5. Pouring the mint syrup into the coffee and mixing it all.

Chili

This is one of my favorite recipes with coffee.

 Thick and spicy chili.

Coffee and beer give this chili a unique and dynamite flavor.

I garnish with shredded cheese, sour cream, and diced onion.

Gravy

My secrete to the perfect all purpose gravy is coffee.

Ingredients

1 Beef Bouillon Cube

1 Chicken Bouillon Cube

2 ¼ cups Hot Brewed Birlon Harvest Ola's Breakfast Blend

4 tbsp, Butter unsalted

1/2 tbsp. corn starch

½ teaspoon

Onion Powder (ok to omit)

¼ teaspoon

Black Pepper (finely ground)

Salt (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve stock cubes in hot coffee
  2. Melt butter in saucepan and mix in corn starch
  3. Slowly pour in stock mixer while whisking and cook until thickened.

Note: The reason this is faster than most gravy recipes is because the coffee is already HOT and the flavor is already concentrated so there’s no need to cook down for flavour.
